Visit England have extended their Covid-19 industry standard, ‘We’re Good to Go’, initially launched in June of last year. The programme, which is run in partnership with Visit Scotland, Visit Wales and Tourism Northern Ireland, allows tourism, leisure and hospitality businesses to demonstrate that they are adhering to the respective Government and public health guidance and confirms they have a COVID-19 Risk Assessment in place.
Business who apply will receive a certificate and a We’re Good to Go mark which can be displayed on their premises and online to reassure customers that the business environment is covid-secure.
The scheme is free and open to all businesses across the tourism sector so if you haven’t already signed up then we strongly encourage that you do so. If you are already signed-up to the standard, then you will not be required to re-apply.
The scheme will be of particular value to businesses in the coming months as they begin to look towards re-opening as national lockdown restrictions hopefully begin to ease in the near future.
