The Longhill & Sandgate Business Association (LSBA) is made up from businesses and organisations committed to working together in order to improve the trading environment for companies located in the Longhill & Sandgate estate area. Please click here to see the boundary. 

Businesses on the estates under the LSBA first pursued a BID in April 2008 to improve the security and environment of the busy estates. Through a formal ballot it was agreed to place a levy on all businesses in the LSBA area based on the rateable value of individual premises with the funds used for CCTV and cleansing the estate. 

The current BID was agreed to run from 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2028 with a 1.75% levy a £75 minimum and £1,500 maximum payments.
