Real Food Daily is a vegan and plant-based, catering, home-delivery service, run by founder Nichola Bartram.

Nichola, a trained chef with experience working both in LA and in local restaurants such as Café Lily and Café Maison in Norton, began Real food daily after losing her previous position, as a result of the Covid-19 Pandemic.  Prior to the pandemic, Nichola worked as a Kitchen Garden Grower, alongside the Executive Chef, ay Wynyard hall; however, as hospitality businesses were forced to close, she was left unemployed and claiming Universal Credit.

Refusing to be beaten by the circumstances that the pandemic had thrown her into, Nichola made the decision to launch her own catering company, and Real Food Daily was born. The business is currently run from a cloud kitchen (a delivery company with no space to dine-in) on Greythorp Industrial Estate. The kitchen was built from the body of a Mercedes truck, which has been fitted with the equipment required to run it as a fully-functioning commercial kitchen. Due to the nature of the business, Real Food Daily relies entirely on online orders placed through online food aggregators, or and online, ordering-enabled, website or app.

As the business grows, Nichola aims to ensure that her menu is also available on social media, such as her Instagram account, and hopes to create an employment opportunity in the form of a part-time delivery driver, to help her expand the business’s operational capacity.
