Businesses are being invited to get involved in the reinvigorated Fairtrade Steering Group (first meeting 23rd October 4:15pm) and influence the renewal of Hartlepool as a Fairtrade Town.

The Chair of the group is keen to get representation from businesses, and anyone else with an interest in Fairtrade, to make sure everyone can have a say. The only commitment needed is a willingness to be involved in discussions about what is already happening around Fairtrade and what could be done in the future.

If you are interested, or would like more information, please contact Martin Green (Chair of the Fairtrade Steering Group) at magreenbq@aol.com or call the Hartlepool Food Partnership on 01429 555600.

The Fairtrade group is a subgroup of the wider Hartlepool Food Partnership which also welcomes involvement from businesses and anyone with an interest in food. The partnership’s vision is for healthy, affordable and sustainable food for all in Hartlepool, and is particularly interested in how we can get more good local food from businesses to residents.
