BE YOUR OWN BOSS 2026 - Monday 12th January - Friday 23rd January 2026

Organised by Hartlepool Council’s Economic Growth Team alongside a range of partners to raise awareness of advice and support available to residents looking to start-up in business and newly established businesses.

A number of sessions will be held across the fortnight, mainly at The BIS in Whitby Street – the Council’s award-winning centre for creative start-ups.

Topics to be covered throughout Be Your Own Boss 2026 include start-up support, bookkeeping, SEO, design thinking, how to utilise AI and much more.
